Romanelli West is a 330-home neighborhood located between Ward Parkway and State Line Road and 64th Terrace south to Gregory Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, the City of Fountains. The J.C. Nichols Company platted Romanelli West and Meyer Gardens subdivisions in the late 1940’s. Our homeowners are members of the Homes Associations of Kansas City, Inc. J.C. Nichols admired the sculptures of the Raffaello Romanelli Studio in Florence, Italy after which he named the subdivision and our association.

Romanelli West homes are on large tree shaded lots and wide streets, with sculptures incorporated into corner landscaping and islands. We have an active homeowners’ association, and various social activities throughout the year. Arno Park, a city park, is within the boundaries of Romanelli West.

Our location is convenient to the Brookside Shops, the Country Club Plaza, Waldo, UMKC’s Volker campus, Midwest Research Institute, The Stowers Institute for Medical Research, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering & Technology, University of Kansas Medical Center, Crown Center, Union Station, downtown Kansas City, 18th & Vine Historic District, Sprint’s World HQ Campus, Corporate Woods, and metro area community colleges in both Kansas and Missouri, all no more than twenty minutes away.
